Salvus House, Durham

The head office for an international mutual marine insurance company, this project was built on teamwork. We were employed as quantity surveyors and drove the two-stage tendering procurement route to arrive at the “right” contractor for the project. The project was built with a teamwork approach and was delivered on time and on budget and went on to win a number of awards including the RICS Renaissance Award, The Journal Landmark Award and a Construction Excellence Award.

The building has since been sold and is now owned by Durham County Council for office and business incubator space.

Contract value £5M.
